REVIVAL

         

There were times when God's presence was so heavy that no man could deny, there were times when business men closed down their shops at noon just  to make intercessions, there were times when little children cried out to the heavens for His glory, there were times when the righteous ruled by the hand of God and the people rejoiced. Where are those times? The earth is out of course, evil is on a consistent rise, morals depreciating, immorality has become the norm, things that were once thought as abominable are now the things one most do to fit into this age. Not forgetting the economic crisis, wars, killings, and pandemic. But in all these Jesus remains the answer, nevertheless He is handicapped to do anything without His body -the church.
           However, many in His body are merely having a form of godliness but know nothing of the power of God. The things written in the scriptures are appearing to be God just bluffing. The supernatural which was the common place of the believers in Acts has now become a zenith too high to reach. The subject of God and Jesus the resurrected is slowly becoming a myth. Bible stories have become fables, the reality of hell has been reduced to a mere scary story told to kids by their Christian parents to make them behave right, and the thought of heaven; a fairy tale.
           But the earth earnestly wait for the manifestation of the sons of God, the earth want to experience the literal glory of God not hear explanations. The earth want to see God do what he says He will do. Creation cry for  revival. So what is revival? Arthur Wallis  said ‘...revival is divine intervention in the normal course of spiritual things, It is God revealing Himself to man in awful holiness and irresistible power. It is such a manifest working of God that human personalities are overshadowed, and human programs abandoned. It is man retiring into the background because God has taken the field. It is the Lord making His Holy arm, and working in extraordinary power on saint and sinner.’
         The good news is that the Lord is drawing men to himself, stirring hunger in them, and placing burdens in their hearts. Surely, there is about to be break out of the spirit of God upon all spheres of life. The sons of God have given the devil a quit notice and the devil knows he has little time. The prophecy of Joel is about to manifest in its fullness and the glory of the lord is will fill the earth like the water the sea.
          The question is, are you one of those to manifest God or are you waiting for God to manifest?
